This clock is made of 16 gauge steel and has a hand applied yellow patina over a natural rust finish. The hands, including the second hand, are painted a soft yellow color to contrast the rust. There is also a painted backer that is placed behind the clock face to make it easier to read. It has a reliable mini quartz movement that operates on one AA battery.
